After releasing the official trailer in recent days, things are moving quickly for The Dummy Detective, the comedy/noir/thriller starring Sean Young, Jonathan Geffner and Deborah Twiss, written by Geffner and directed by Rob Margolies.
An official page has been launched for a crowdfunding campaign for the film, the final goal of which is to raise 18,000 dollars which will go directly to completing post-production and the remaining will go to marketing the film and getting it into the eyes of as many viewers as possible. The official page says that “Every penny counts, and every dollar will be used to either enhance the film’s production or push it into the spotlight. If we exceed our goal, every dollar will be used to further elevate production quality of the movie and/ or to increase publicity for it”.
